Explore Ridin-Hy’s 700 acres of scenic trails on well trained ranch horses. Free instructions by experienced wranglers makes even a beginner comfortable in the saddle. Enjoy old fashioned rodeos, hayrides, horse drawn sleigh and wagon rides, and pony rides for our smallest cowboys and cowgirls.
It is your responsiblity as a rider to know your own riding level. If you have questions please ask a cowboy or cowgirl at the barn. It is your responsibilty to sign up for the appropriate ride for your age and riding ability.
BL = Beginner Lesson - for ages 5 and up. Beginning lesson riders will learn basic riding, reining and stopping techniques.
B = Beginner Ride - for ages 7 and up. This ride is walking only.
IL = Intermediate Lesson - for ages 7 and up. Lesson riders will learn how to post when trotting. This is very important before going on the intermediate trail ride.
I = Intermediate Ride - For ages 8 and up. This ride walks and trots.
YA = Youth Advanced Ride - for ages 10 and up. This ride walks, trots and canters. Must have cowboy or cowgirl approval before riding this ride. Must be comfortable on the intermediate trail ride.
E = Experienced Ride - for ages 16 and up. Experienced riders only - meaning people who ride year round (not just at Ridin-Hy once a year) - this ride walks, trots, canters and gallops.
